LEGAL & ACCOUNT TERMS

Terms of Use

These terms explain the simple rules for using Brakevia as a business-management tool.

Effective August 30, 2026Applies to Brakevia website and app

Using Brakevia

By creating an account or using Brakevia, you agree to these terms. Brakevia is designed to help a business organize its daily work; it is not a bank, payment processor, law firm, accounting firm, or tax advisor.

Accounts and team access

The business owner controls who may access its workspace. Keep sign-in details private and add team members only when they need access. You are responsible for activity completed through your account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Your business information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the customers, services, prices, taxes, estimates, invoices, job notes, expenses, messages, and other records you enter. Keep your own backup of important business information.

Payments and outside services

Brakevia does not take, hold, process, or store customer card details. When a business uses Square, QuickBooks, PayPal, or another provider, that business has a direct relationship with the provider and is responsible for its provider account, checkout links, fees, refunds, and payment decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use Brakevia to break the law, harm another person, interfere with security, access another business’s information, send unwanted messages, or misrepresent services or payments. Access may be limited or ended when use creates a security, legal, or safety concern.

Availability and changes

Brakevia may update, improve, or correct features over time. During the current owner-controlled release, features may change as the product grows. We will work to keep the service available, but temporary interruptions can occur.

Disclaimers

Brakevia is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brakevia makes no warranties—express, implied, or statutory—including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, accuracy, or that records will never be lost, changed, or unavailable. Use your own judgment and qualified professionals when needed.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brakevia and its owner, team, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, customers, or business opportunity; or any claim arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on Brakevia. If a court finds Brakevia liable despite this section, its total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid to Brakevia for the service in the 12 months before that claim.

Your responsibility for claims

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Brakevia and its owner, team, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your business, your content or records, your customer communications, your use of outside payment providers, or your violation of these terms or the law.

Ending access

You may stop using Brakevia at any time. Account deletion requests can be made through Support. We may suspend or end access for misuse, fraud, security risks, or violation of these terms.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as Brakevia evolves. Continued use after an updated effective date means the updated terms apply. Questions can be sent through the Support page.
